Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Sunday said that the Kaleshwaram project would bear fruits by June next year. The Chief Minister was replying to a discussion on the Budget in the Assembly on Sunday. KCR said he wanted to make it clear the doubts on the Kaleshwaram project as leaders were talking without any awareness. "Even I had no information about Godavari River but I learnt about it talking to engineering experts. Let us not curse our own State for the sake of silly politics," said KCR.

ప్రతిష్టాత్మక కాళేశ్వరం ఎత్తిపోతల ప్రాజె క్టుతో అన్నీ అద్భుతాలే జరుగుతున్నాయని, ఇకపైనా అద్భుతమే జరుగుతుందని సీఎం కె.చంద్రశేఖర్‌రావు అన్నారు. కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజె క్టుతో ఆరునూరైనా 45 లక్షల ఎకరాల ఆయ కట్టుకు నీరందిస్తామని, గోదావరి నదిని సజీవం చేస్తామని తెలిపారు. ఇప్పటికే గోదా వరి 250 కిలోమీటర్లు ఉల్టా నడుస్తోందని, వరద కాల్వ అంతా పెద్ద రిజర్వాయర్‌గా మారిందని పేర్కొన్నారు. కాళేశ్వరం నీళ్లతో చెరువులు నింపుతుండటంతో ప్రజలంతా పండుగ చేసుకుంటున్నారని చెప్పారు. పున రుజ్జీవ పథకంతో ఎస్సారెస్పీ కింద 7 లక్షల ఎకరాల ఆయకట్టు స్థిరీకరణ అయినట్లేనని, ప్రస్తుతం సగం టీఎంసీ నీటిని తీసుకునేలా పంపులు సిద్ధం చేయగా, మరో 30 రోజుల్లోనే ఒక టీఎంసీ నీటిని ఎస్సారెస్పీకి తరలించే చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. గురువారం అసెంబ్లీ ప్రశ్నోత్తరాల్లో భాగంగా ఎమ్మెల్యే కె.విద్యాసాగర్‌రావు, బాల్క సుమన్‌ అడిగిన ప్రశ్నలకు సీఎం బదులిచ్చారు.
