Diners amazed by rare pink gecko which appeared on wall of Thai restaurant

Diners were baffled after noticing this rare pink gecko crawling up the restaurant wall.
The seven-inch long reptile appeared inside the building in Surat Thani, southern Thailand, last Sunday (September 15) afternoon.
Footage shows how waitresses and customers gathered around the wall to look at the unusual pink gecko.
It had brightly coloured pink scales from its tail to the head where it started to fade into a pale red.
The creature stayed even when people started to take photographs.
Restaurant owner Nongkran Thanasiriruck believes the strange gecko was a kind of good omen.
She has since made offerings to the lizard at a small shrine inside the restaurant.
Nongkransaid: "Ever since the appearance of the pink gecko, my restaurant's revenue has been growing.
"We have been busy ever since it made an appearance. I think he came here to bring us good luck so I will keep giving thanks to him.''
