America's top diplomat for East Asia says he assumes North Korea is still producing nuclear weapons.
When asked by the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Wednesday whether he believes the regime is still developing nuclear weapons,... David Stilwell, Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific affairs, answered "yes."
Asked about the number of warheads,... he said he would offer more details in a separate, more private setting.
Such remarks come as Pyeongyang and Washington are expected to resume stalled denuclearization talks soon, although the two side have yet to agree on the exact time or location.
