Film description: Views of a still photo with the face of Hipólito Yrigoyen. The death of the former Argentine president and the conduction of his remains to the Recoleta, give rise to impressive manifestations of mourning in Buenos Aires. In front of the mortuary house, a huge crowd awaits the departure of the remains of the popular disappeared leader. Dr. Marcelo T. de Alvear speaks to the people from the balconies of the mortuary house. Hardly, the coffin is taken from the mortuary house. Debts and co-religionists carry it on their shoulders. Close-ups of a poster where it is written: "Radical University Committee"; and another: "UCR-National Youth Congress". The flower floats. General views of the floats with the flower offerings moving down a street. The hearse. Close-ups of the hearse moving along a street. Slowly and hardly, the funeral caravan arrives at the Plaza del Congreso. The popular pain, manifested in an exciting waving of handkerchiefs. It's 15 hours; three years ago the procession has started and, slowly, now runs along Callao Avenue. The remains of the former Argentine magistrate arrive at Recoleta. The "Chingolo", a very popular plane in the country, evolves over Recoleta when the courtship arrives. Close-ups of the plane flying over the cemetery. Simultaneously with the act of burial, an artillery battery gives the salutes of rigor decreed by the national government.
