Bizarre onion eating competition takes place in the UK

Bizarre footage of the annual onion eating contest which took place at the Newent Onion Fayre in Gloucestershire in the UK today (September 14).

The men are challenged to eat a raw 7 oz onion in the fastest time possible, while the women must eat a smaller 5 oz onion.

This year’s winner of the men's competition was Alex Navari while Leanne Wright snatched glory in the women's event.
