Grande has filed suit against the retail company for trademark infringement. The 26-year-old singer claims her name and likeness were stolen to promote the products of two companies: Forever 21 and Riley Rose — a beauty company started by the daughters of the founders of Forever 21. Grande claims that at least 30 images and/or videos were used to make customers think she endorsed the products. According to Grande, Forever 21 approached her in February to embark on a joint marketing campaign, but she turned it down. The singer also states that the company hired a model who looks like her and used parts of her single, "7 Rings," to sell merchandise. Forever 21, who is also rumored to be facing bankruptcy, has yet to comment.
