QUANZHOU, FUJIAN / CHINA — Footage from Monday evening shows thousands of Yuan mysteriously pepper a road in the Fujian city of Quanzhou, whilst people race to fill their pockets.
Adults and children alike can be seen running into the congested road and taking the money for themselves.
In one clip, the person filming shows how she's made of with 400 yuan ($55).
Citing the footage from the incident, the Shanghaiist reports that police are currently investigating the incident and are unsure exactly how much money was scattered.
