73-Year-Old Woman Gives
Birth to Twins in India.
Erramatti Mangayamma, a woman from
Andhra Pradesh, India, is believed to be
the oldest person to ever give birth. .
The 73-year-old gave birth to twin girls
on Sept. 5 via C-section, after becoming
pregnant through in vitro fertilization.
She and her husband, Raja Rao, reportedly sought
out the procedure after being unable to conceive
naturally throughout their 57 years of marriage.
According to their doctor, Sanakayyala Umashankar,
the procedure didn’t encounter any complications and
Mangayamma and her babies are completely healthy. .
She is very confident now. More confident
than ever in her life and she is looking forward
