MANILA -- Detained Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. was visited by his father, Ramon Sr., at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center in Camp Crame on Sunday. The 87-year-old former actor and senator was accompanied by family members, Lani Mercado, Jolo Revilla, Bryan Revilla, Andrea Bautista and her husband Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares. It was the first time that Revilla Sr. visited his son at the detention cell. "Natuwa naman siya na nakita niya ang aking father. Kung ano man ang sinabi niya noon, iyon pa rin naman ang sinabi niya. No tears," Bryan said of his grandfather. Meanwhile, Bryan said his father is now feeling better after suffering a mild migraine on Saturday night due to "poor ventilation." "Last night 'yun, medyo masakit daw talalaga ulo niya. He woke up in the middle of the night. Pero okay na naman siya," Bryan said. Chief Superintendent Reuben Theodore Sindac, the PNP's Public Information Office director, said the ventilation of Revilla's detention cell has been improved. On their request for an air cooler, Revilla's son said: "Kung pagbibigyan ho kami doon mas maganda sana. Pero we are here to obey kung ano ang gusto nilang ipagawa sa amin. Kung ano lang 'yung puwede ibigay." Only three visitors at a time are allowed inside Revilla's cell and Sindac said they will remain strict with visiting regulations. Aside from his family, Revilla was also visited by friends like comedian Jimmy Santos. — report from Henry Atuelan, DZMM
