LTFRB: Few complaints on 1st day of jeepney fare hike
  • 5 years ago
The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) said the implementation of new jeepney fares in the National Capital Region (NCR), and Regions 3 and 4 have been successful so far. Jeepney fares in the said areas went up to P8.50 Saturday. LTFRB Chairman Winston Ginez said they only monitored a few complaints on jeepneys charging higher fares without the prescribed fare matrices. Transport leaders have been tasked to help distribute the fare matrix to their members. Commuters who have complaints can contact the LTFRB's hotline at 459-2129 or 09214487777.
