Wizards rout Pacers in Game 5 to extend series

The Washington Wizards are not yet ready to raise the white flag. Faced with the daunting task of overcoming a 3-1 series deficit, the Wizards routed the top seeded Indiana Pacers, 102-79 in Game 5 on the Pacers' home floor. Washington did it by outhustling and outrebounding Indiana 62-23. Leading the way was Wizards center Marcin Gortat who had a monster line of 31 points and 16 rebounds. John Wall added 27 markers, sparking a third quarter run that allowed the Wizards to stretch their lead to as much as 30 points.
