Yolanda rehabilitation on track, Lacson says
  • 5 years ago
Rehabilitation czar Panfilo Lacson said considering the vastness of areas devastated by typhoon "Yolanda," much has already been done to help residents recover from the tragedy. Six months after the typhoon struck, just a little over 26,000 lots have been generated, a mere 10 percent of the required 216,000 housing units. But Lacson said this is already a big achievement considering the extent of the damage. He said government agencies are crafting action plans and programs for a master rehabilitation plan.
