North Korea's Vice Premier Ri Ryong-nam says.... the North wants to strengthen economic cooperation with Russia's Far East.
Ri is in Vladivostok for the Eastern Economic Forum.
The Far East region of Primorsky Krai said on its website.... that right after Ri got there on Monday,... he met with the region's governor, Oleg Kozhemyako.
Ri said,... the North is now focusing on economic development,... and that prospects are bright for cooperation with Russia in the areas of construction, agriculture, fisheries and tourism.
Today, instead of attending the forum's plenary session...., Ri will be meeting with other senior Russian officials.
