WATCH: PNoy gives Easter message

MANILA – President Benigno Aquino III highlighted some of his administration’s achievements in his Easter message, noting the country now has a brighter future. Aquino said the Philippines is recovering from corruption and poverty, paving the way for economic growth. Public services are also improving, alongside rising achievements in education and housing projects, he said. Among these achievements, Aquino also mentioned the peace deal between the government and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) as a sign of the country’s progress. He also vowed to strengthen institutions and punish officials to ensure the country’s future.
