Djokovic wins Indian Wells final

Novak Djokovic defeated old rival Roger Federer to win a nail-biting BNP Paribas Open final at Indian Wells. The Serbian overcame a shaky start when he dropped the first set, and clawed his way back in the second and third sets to clinch his first title of 2014. Djokovic put the match away on his second championship point after two hours and 12 minutes, handing Federer his first loss in five Indian Wells finals. The thrilling victory also gave Djokovic his third championship in the Californian desert tournament and lifted his career tally to 42 titles. -- Mornings @ ANC, March 17, 2014.
