WATCH: Take a trip to Puerto Princesa's Isla Puting Buhangin

PUERTO PRINCESA -- Tired of the usual Puerto Princesa attractions like the Honda Bay islang-hopping tour or Underground River cruise which could get pretty crowded during summer? Why not visit Isla Puting Buhangin? It has powdery white sand beach, clear blue waters, and has yet to be touched by commercial development. Visitors can relax and get a tan in the sandbar. It's a 40-minute trip by tricycle to Isla Puting Buhangin which costs 200 to 300 pesos, or a 30-minute boat trip from Puerto Princesa's baywalk which costs 30 pesos per person. There are no food stalls in the beach so make sure you get your supplies in town before heading to Isla Puting Buhangin. The area is privately-owned but still undeveloped so it's still free admission to those who want to visit. From report by Monica Paclarin, ABS-CBN Palawan
