MANILA – Around 100 families lost their homes after a fire razed a residential area in Novaliches, Quezon City before dawn on Wednesday. Bureau of Fire Protection – Quezon City chief Jesus Fernandez said fire erupted at a residential area along Jasmin Street at around 2 a.m. The fire reached the Task Force Alpha alarm and was declared out at 3 a.m. It gutted down at least 35 houses. No one was reported injured in the incident. Fire investigators have yet to determine the exact cause of the blaze.
