WATCH: Whale sharks sighted in port of Legazpi

They're not usually sighted anywhere close to the city, so when several whale sharks were spotted along the Albay Gulf very close to the port of Legazpi, locals and tourists alike were delighted. A number of tourists who failed to see whale sharks or "butanding" on a trip to Donsol, Sorsogon were amused by the sighting so close to shore. The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is investigating if the whale sharks came from Donsol. The WWF believes the whale sharks swam to Albay Gulf because of the abundance of food like small crustaceans and fish. -- From report by Jose Carretero, ABS-CBN Legazpi
