Junjun Binay jokes about 'DasmaGate'

MANILA - Makati Mayor Junjun Binay is finally opening up about the incident involving an alleged misunderstanding between him and security guards of Dasmariñas Village. In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN reporter Anthony Taberna, the Makati mayor said the incident has become a joke in the family. "Naging katatawanan na lang. Biruan namin sa bahay: 'Yan kasi, punta punta ka dun. Hindi ka naman mukhanga taga-Village. Nahaharang ka ng gwardiya," he said. "Hindi ka nakita. Hindi nakita ng gwardiya," he added. Binay has come under fire for allegedly ordering the arrest of security guards of Dasmariñas Village who barred the exit of his 4-car convoy from one of the village's gates last November 30, 2013. The mayor denied that the guards were arrested but were merely invited for questioning. The full interview with Binay and his sister, Sen.
