MANILA - Actor Patrick Garcia is no longer part of ABS-CBN's hit afternoon series "Annaliza." On Thursday's episode of the show, Garcia's character, Lazaro "Laz" Benedicto, died after he was shot by Marcus "Makoy" Garcia played by actor Carlo Aquino. The death of Lazaro came after he found out that his former girlfriend, Stella Celerez (Kaye Abad), was the mastermind behind the kidnapping of his daughter, Annaliza. Lazaro, along with his wife Isabel (Denise Laurel) and Guido (Zanjoe Marudo), coordinated with authorities for an entrapment operation to pin down Stella. Garcia found out about the entrapment operation and shot Lazaro as he tried to help Stella. "Annaliza" airs weekdays on ABS-CBN after "Princess Hours."
