More details on the pork barrel and Malampaya fund scams emerge as investigators of the Office of the Ombudsman grilled Ruby Tuason for nearly 12 hours on Tuesday. In her affidavit, Tuason admitted delivering pork barrel kickbacks to Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Juan Ponce Enrile from Janet Lim Napoles. The Ombudsman will study whether the information from Tuason supports the other evidence on record in the case. The results of the clarificatory hearing will help determine whether Tuason will be accepted as a state witness. For now, she has provisional admission to government's Witness Protection Program because of perceived threats to her life. "Nagdadasal po si Mrs. Ruby Tuason gabi-gabi na sana po makita yung merit ng kanyang application at she is hoping that her statement will be considered as a material for the successful prosecution of these criminal cases," said Tuason's lawyer, Atty.
