MANILA, Philippines – The Ateneo Lady Eagles ended a two-game losing streak after sweeping the UP Lady Maroons in UAAP women’s volleyball. Ateneo won comfortably in sets one and two, but had to weather a UP fightback in the third set to book the victory. Alyssa Valdez led the way for the Lady Eagles with 19 points as Ateneo improved to 6-3, while UP dropped to 1-8. Mornings @ ANC, January 23, 2014.
