Helper steals employer's jewelry, luxury bags

MANILA – A house helper was arrested after allegedly stealing his employer's jewelry and luxury bags in Caniogan, Pasig on Wednesday evening. Marwene Diaz Miranda, 24, was accused of stealing his employer's valuables worth over P200,000. Police recovered the pieces of jewelry and bags worth P186,000. A watch and several perfumes with a total value of P70,000, however, were not recovered anymore. - Umagang Kay Ganda, 16 January 2014
