MANILA - US Secretary of State John Kerry will visit the Philippines this month as part of America's commitment to help in the rehabilitation efforts after super typhoon Yolanda. US State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf said Kerry had spoken yesterday with his Philippine counterpart, Albert del Rosario, who thanked the US for its support for Yolanda victims. The US has already provided about 60 million dollars in aid. The State Department did not say when exactly Kerry will visit the Philippines. It stated that aside from the Yolanda relief efforts, Kerry will also discuss a wide range of bilateral and regional issues during his visit. Kerry was forced to postpone a trip to the Philippines in October due to a typhoon. ANC DATELINE PHILIPPINES, December 4, 2013
