'LGUs to decide who to hire under P50-M emergency jobs program'

The Department of Labor and Employment is giving local governments the final say in who should be hired under its P50 million emergency jobs program. The program covers about 12,000 displaced workers in eastern Visayas who will be paid to rebuild Yolanda-ravaged cities. The take-home pay is P260 a day, for a minimum employment of 15 days.
