MANILA - More than 5,000 registered voters are expected to vote in Barangay Bagong Silang in Caloocan City, the country's biggest barangay. Some of the voters came as early 5 a.m. to be the first in line when the polls open. Bagong Silang is the largest barangay in the Philippines in terms of land area and population. It covers 524.68 hectares and is home to over 245,000 residents, or about 16 percent of Caloocan‘s total population. ANC HEADSTART, October 28, 2013
