10-ft python falls from bathroom ceiling

MANILA – A ten-foot python triggered a commotion at a neighborhood in Sta. Cruz, Manila on Tuesday morning. Rose Manlosa, a resident along Tambunting Street, said she was about to take a bath when the python suddenly emerged from the ceiling of the bathroom. The reptile then fell on the bathroom floor, sending Manlosa screaming. Manlosa's neighbors helped each other in catching the reptile, which crawled its way into a sink. The python's tail was severed while residents struggled to pull it. The python was eventually caught and turned over to the Manila Zoo. – report from Noel Alamar, dzMM
