Federer out of Shanghai Open

MANILA, Philippines – In Bulgaria, up-and-coming coach Ivaylo Petev left his club even before holding his first training session, after hostile fans forced him out of his own press conference. The club Levski, Bulgarian champions on 26 occasions, were officially presenting Petev to the media when several dozen fans burst in to confront him and made him take off his shirt. The fans believed that Petev is a supporter of Levski’s rival, CSKA. Petev, considered to be one of the best young coaches in the Balkan country, has shelved his plans to coach the team, saying he would not like to work in such an environment.
