Marantan: Murder raps over Atimonan shooting 'unfortunate'

MANILA -- Supt. Hansel Marantan, the leader of the policemen involved in the Atimonan, Quezon shooting incident, calls the multiple murder case against him and 12 others "unfortunate." "That is so unfortunate for policemen who gamble their lives in the front line," he said. But Marantan said he is ready to face to charges in court. "Hindi ako tatakas... Haharapin ko ang kaso as a humble being. You have my word." Meanwhile, manhunt operations are ongoing for three policemen who had escaped -- Ramon Balauag, Al Bhazar Jailani and Nelson Indal.
