The UST Tigers knocked out five-time defending UAAP basketball champions the Ateneo Blue Eagles in Season 76. The Tigers were aggressive from the start behind frontliners Karim Abdul and Kevin Ferrer. Ateneo fought back in the third quarter, briefly taking the lead. But UST recovered and held off Ateneo, 82-74.
