EDSA Tayo organizers still seek permit from Bistek

MANILA - Organizers of tomorrow's anti-pork barrel rally at the EDSA Shrine are still hoping to get a permit from Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista. Junep Ocampo, one of the organizers of EDSA Tayo, said they already obtained permission from the Archdiocese of Manila and were in a meeting yesterday with the Metro Manila Development Authority and the Philippine National Police to discuss security and traffic preparations. Ocampo said more than 5,000 have already confirmed their attendance in the rally but without a permit, they will have to confine themselves to the EDSA Shrine and sidewalks.
