Heavy rains batter Baguio, Benguet; classes suspended

MANILA – Classes in all levels in Baguio City and Benguet province were suspended Wednesday due to heavy rains. Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan and Benguet Governor Nestor Fongwan said they suspended classes due to heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon enhanced by tropical storm "Nando." Work in all government offices has not been suspended. The DPWH advised motorists going up to Baguio City to take precautionary measures. Benguet Vizcaya Road was closed to traffic.
