Napoles not being protected by armed men: lawyer

MANILA -- The camp of Janet Lim Napoles denies she is being protected by armed men. Napoles' lawyer, Lorna Kapunan, said information from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) could put her client's life in danger. She also said instead of announcing a P10-million reward, the President should have offered protection and due process for Napoles. Kapunan insisted Napoles has no plans of fleeing the country and denied that she owns yachts or even a private plane. ANC Top Story, August 28, 2013
