PNoy moving Lim out of Customs

MANILA - President Aquino is moving Customs Deputy Commissioner Danilo Lim out of the bureau. Lim will instead be given a new assignment. "I will be giving him a new assignment and we are still in the process of discussing where his new assignment will be. I spent most of the time getting briefed on the nitty gritty as far as the Customs is concerned, the problems that he encountered. Issues para magkarong ng substance yung aking mga suspicions before," Aquino said. "So he will be given a new tasking out of Customs," he added. The President said he has yet to talk to Customs Deputy Commissioner Juan Lorenzo Tañada but noted that Customs chief Ruffy Biazon is batting for Tañada's retention. ANC, August 8, 2013
