In Gotgar Khel, people from two villages situated on the banks of the Jam river showered stones on each other. About four hundred people were injured in it. Actually, this tradition continues for three hundred years, in which people throw stones at each other, it is called Gotmar.

मध्य प्रदेश के छिंदवाड़ा जिला से लगभग 90 किलोमीटर दूर पांढुर्ना में विश्वप्रसिद्ध मेले का आयोजन किया गया। इस दौरान गोटमार खेल खेला गया। जिसमें बड़ी संख्या में लोगों ने हिस्सा लिया। गोटगार खेल में जाम नदी के किनारे स्थित दो गांवों के लोगों ने एक-दूसरे पर पत्थर बरसाए। इसमें करीब चार सौ लोग घायल हो गए। दरअसल, यह परंपरा तीन सौ सालों से जारी है, जिसमें लोग एक-दूसरे पर पत्थर फेंकते हैं, इसे गोटमार कहा जाता है।
