Active Volcano Erupts On
Small Italian Island.
The eruption happened on Stromboli, which is located
in the Tyrrhenian Sea.
There have no reports of
any injuries or major damage
to the surrounding area.
Around 400 people are believed
to live around Stromboli.
The volcano is known to produce daily rumblings and often emit lava.
This new eruption follows another one last month on Stromboli,
which caused one fatality.
Besides Stromboli, Italy has two other active volcanoes: Sicily's Mount Etna and Naples'
Mount Vesuvius
