For the first time since implementing trade curbs on three high-tech materials used in making chips last month,...Tokyo approved shipping hydrogen fluoride to Seoul.
According to the Korea's trade ministry, Japan granted approval of exporting the material, although the exact amount it not confirmed.
The shipping was reportedly requested by Samsung Electronics.
Earlier, Japan approved shipping photo resists to South Korea twice.
