Children studying in government schools from class one to eighth from the government are being given food daily during the break under the Mid Day Meal Scheme. Children have to wash utensils themselves during this time. In such a situation, due to lack of water for washing utensils in the school of Makronia, a suburb of Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, children are forced to descend into deep puddles filled with ravines and water. After the meal, the children washed utensils in a pit filled with rain water near the school.

सरकार की ओर से कक्षा एक से आठवीं तक के सरकारी स्कूल मे पढने वाले बच्चों को ब्रेक के दौरान मिड डे मील योजना के तहत प्रतिदिन भोजन दिया जा रहा है। बच्चों को इस दौरान बर्तन खुद ही धोने पड़ते है । ऐसे में मध्यप्रदेश के सागर के उपनगर मकरोनियां के स्कूल में बर्तन धोने के लिए पानी की व्यवस्था नहीं होने से बच्चों को नालों और पानी से भरे गहरे खड्‌ढों में उतरकर बर्तन धोने की मजबूरी है। भोजन करने के बाद बच्चों ने स्कूल के पास बारिश के पानी से भरे गड्डे में बर्तन धोए।
