UK PM Johnson calls Irish border backstop "indispensable" to political stability of EU

In Brexit news...
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson says the Irish border backstop is "indispensable" to preserving political stability and the single market.
This is what he told French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris during Brexit talks on Thursday.
Johnson also said the UK's vote to quit the EU must be respected.
He added with energy and creativity they can find a way forward.
However,... the French President reiterated there was not enough time to negotiate a wholly new Brexit divorce deal, saying Brexit is "not the choice of the European Union."
