신개념 체감 VR 등장, 가상과 현실 공간의 경계를 허물다

A new type of virtual reality has been introduced in South Korea.
In addition to pictures on a headset, this VR system has physical objects to touch, making it feel even more real.
Our Kan Hyeong-woo tells us more.
The line between the virtual world and reality has gotten more blurred in South Korea.
This is the newly opened 'Nomadic VR arcade' in CGV Gangbyeon, a local theater near Dong Seoul Bus Terminal.
Once you put on the VR gear and start the shooting game to fight zombies,... you can actually touch and feel different objects you see in the virtual world.
So if there's a door in front of you in the virtual world, a real door exists in the same exact spot in the real world.
The touchable objects include doors, buttons, levers and drawers.
Up to four people can play at the same time.
Each person has a rifle which vibrates every time you fire it... making it feel like you are really shooting down zombies.
"I felt like I was actually in 'The Walking Dead' and that I was the main character - which was awesome. This was also my first time trying VR that I could touch. It was an incredible and fresh experience."
This type of combination between virtual and physical reality tricks your mind into thinking that you are actually there.
But the developers say they are thinking even bigger.
"So hopefully in the future, in the near future, in fact, we expect people to come see a superhero movie here in CGV and come to place like here and actually go into the movie and meet the heroes you just met and be one of them."
The 'Nomadic VR arcade' is open every day from 11 AM to 9 PM.
And until September 16,... the entrance fee has a 50 percent discount at 7500 won - about 6 U.S. dollars.
