A concerted effort by former minister P Chidambaram’s lawyers to get relief from the Supreme Court ran into a technical glitch on Wednesday after court officials could not process petition. Chidambaram’s lawyers went twice to Justice NV Ramana but were told that only Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi would take up the case.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट में कपिल सिब्बल की तरफ से कहा गया कि अगर सभी खामियां दूर हो गई हैं तो मामला सुना जाए. लेकिन जस्टिस रमन्ना ने कहा कि हम सिर्फ लिस्टिंग करेंगे, मामला नहीं सुनेंगे. इसके आगे रजिस्ट्रार ने अदालत को जानकारी दी कि लिस्टिंग पर फैसला CJI को करना है, लेकिन हमें अभी उनके आदेश का इंतजार है
