For gym-goers who want a more domestic touch to their work out, Tokyo's 'Maid Gym' where the fitness instructors wear french maid outfits, could be the answer.
The certified fitness instructors with a frilly twist could be seen training in the gym and helping a patron with his weights.
Maid Gym instructor Ruby Hataoka said the training was "strict" and "serious" but that it might be more friendly than other places full of "big" "macho guys" and "scary people". A 50-minute session costs 7,500 yen which is approximately Rs 4,300.
