కృష్ణాజిల్లా పెనమలూరు నియోజకవర్గంలోని వరద ప్రాంతాలలో మాజీ సీఎం, టీడీపీ అధినేత చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు పర్యటించారు. యనమలకుదురు, పెద్దపులిపాక, కాసరనేని పాలెంలో చంద్రబాబు పర్యటించి నీటమునిగిన ఇల్లు, పంట పొలాలను పరిశీలించారు. వరద బాధితులను పరామర్శించి ధైర్యం చెప్పారు. చంద్రబాబుతో రైతులు మాట్లాడుతూ పునరావాస కేంద్రాలలో అన్నం పెట్టేందుకు ఆధార్ కార్డు అడిగారని, వరదలకు పంట మునిగిపోయి ఏడుస్తుంటే వర్షాలతో ఆనందంగా ఉన్నామని మంత్రులు ప్రకటించడం బాధగా ఉందన్నారు.
