Would You Dare to Make an Ice Sculpture in -18 Degrees Celsius?

Sculptors from around the world concluded the latest Harbin International Ice-Assemblage Sculpture Championship. Thirteen teams from seven countries had just 4.5 days to complete their sculptors.

Each team received around 10 large blocks of ice, carved from Harbin's Songhua river. They had to work in temperatures of around -18 degrees Celsius. This year the first prize went to Team Russia Amursk for their ice dragons.

Despite the harsh weather conditions and the difficult task at hand, the participants seem to enjoy being a part of the competition.
