A single school system is one of the best ways to foster unity, says Khairy

Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin said that having a single school system is one of the best ways to foster unity.

However he said it should have been something that was done from the start as once they allowed for vernacular schools it is difficult to unravel it.

He said Malaysians should now aspire to have national schools become the automatic school of choice by being "so good that parents want to send their children there."

He was responding to a question at a forum titled “Beyond 2020: Fresh Views, New Visions” at Sunway College today.
