Women cricket have seen its rise in last few years. In 2017, Women World cup gained a huge popularity among public. Now taking a step further, Womens T20 World cup has been included in Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth games. ICC, ECB and Commonwealth games federation announced it on Tuesday. ICC stated that it was historic moment for Women cricket and International cricket and they were excited about the prospect of Women cricket being played in commonwealth games.


पिछले कुछ सालों में वीमेन क्रिकेट की लोकप्रियता में काफी बढ़ोतरी देखी गई है। साल 2017 में वीमेन वर्ल्ड कप ने भी खूब सुर्खियाँ बटौरी थीं। अब इस कड़ी में वीमेन क्रिकेट को एक बड़ी खुशखबरी मिली है। दरअसल महिला टी-20 वर्ल्ड कप को 2022 में होने वाले बर्मिंघम राष्ट्रमंडल खेलों में शामिल कर लिया गया है। अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट परिषद (आईसीसी) , इंग्लैंड क्रिकेट बोर्ड और कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स फेडरेशन ने मंगलवार को इसकी जानकारी दी। आईसीसी ने बताया कि यह महिला क्रिकेट और अंतरराष्ट्रीय क्रिकेट के लिए ऐतिहासिक क्षण हैं। हम फैसले से उत्साहित हैं। 22वां कॉमनवेल्थ गेम्स इंग्लैंड के शहर बर्मिंघम में 27 जुलाई से 7 अगस्त 2022 तक होगा।
