Customs Commissioner Ruffy Biazon is pushing for the passage of the Customs Modernization bill, a day after his offer to resign was rejected by President Aquino. Biazon said the country needs to be compliant with world standards for Customs services so it can curb smuggling. The bill has not been passed in the previous Congress.
