MMDA chair to lead walkthrough for provincial buses

MANILA -- Metropolitan Manila Development Authority chair Francis Tolentino will lead a walkthrough for provincial buses Thursday afternoon as the pending ban on such buses along EDSA draws near. Tolentino said the walkthrough will familiarize bus drivers coming from the south with the proper stopovers and their designated terminal, the South Interim Transport Terminal in Parañaque. He explained the walkthrough aims to avoid confusion once the ban takes effect on August 6. Tolentino said the use of the terminal will be free for bus operators in the first six months.
