EMBED VIDEO HERE MANILA -- Manila Vice Mayor Isko Moreno asks commuters heading to Manila to bear with a little discomfort and make walking a habit. In an interview with ANC on Wednesday, Moreno said commuters getting off buses in Welcome Rotonda will need to walk only 20 to 30 meters to get to the nearest jeepneys. At the end of the day, pag nagtulung-tulungan tayo, anak niyo rin ang makikinabang," he said. " Moreno added. The city government is also appealing to the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to lower bus fares plying Manila since their routes will be shorter. Moreno also said the city has a bigger problem than traffic congestion. He said Manila's liabilities amounting to P3.5 billion has left the city too bankrupt to implement new plans. -- ANC
