Camila Cabello, Lil Nas X and Lizzo Among MTV VMA Performers The network has announced a diverse
range of artists who will be taking the stage at
the Prudential Center in New Jersey on Aug. 26. Also performing are
Shawn Mendes, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Rosalía and Taylor Swift. The event will mark the third year
in a row that Mendes — who is nominated for
five awards — has performed at the ceremony. His girlfriend, Cabello, will be making
her VMAs performance debut, as will all
of the other newly-announced artists. Missy Elliott will perform at the ceremony
for the first time in 16 years in honor of her
receiving the Video Vanguard Award. Swift's appearance will be her first televised performance after the release of her new album, 'Lover,' which drops just three days before the event.
